Archer Registration Waitlist

The New Archer Meet-n-Greet Orientation Session is a free opportunity to learn more about the NASP program and what is expected of archers and families joining the Lamar and Highland Park archery teams.

Lamar students that attend a Meet-n-Greet Orientation Session receive first priority for team registration. Archers wishing to register who did not attend a Meet-n-Greet Orientation Session will be placed on a wait list.

Highland Park students that attended either a Bat City Archery Summer Camp or a Meet-n-Greet Orientation Session receive priority for team registration (you do not need to do both). Archers that did not attend either summer camp or a Meet-n-Greet Orientation Session will be put on a wait list.

Archers MUST SIGN-UP for a session These ARE NOT drop-in sessions. You must sign up to RSVP a spot. Drop-ins will be turned away.

The session will cover range safety, introduce the shot cycle (yes, they will shoot), allow time for an archer/parent Q & A, and provide information to help archers/families determine if they’d like to pursue a commitment to be a Lamar or HP Archer. All equipment provided. Archers MAY NOT use their own bow unless it is a NASP approved Genesis Original Bow.

We will offer only 2 Sessions (14-16) archers per session. Once full, students will be added to a wait list.

Registration closes Thursday, 21-August @ 6:00p or when full.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Meet-n-Greet mandatory?

Archers that attend a Meet-n-Greet receive priority for team registration. Archers that do not attend a session and wish to register for the team will be put on a wait list.

Can parents & caregivers stay and observe?

Absolutely! In fact, we encourage you to do so. That said, for safety reasons, is best to leave younger siblings at home unless they can stay put for 90-minutes. The archery range is not conducive to little ones bouncing and running around the gym.

What does my archer need to wear?

Close toe shoes. Hair tied back or in a hat. T-shirt or athletic top. Leave jewelry at home.

What does my archer need to bring?

All the archery equipment is provided. We suggest your archer brings a labeled water bottle.
