About Us
It started as a simple physical education curriculum unit at Highland Park Elementary School in 2015, and continued with 33 Highland Park 5th grade archers competing at the 2017 Texas State Championships. Fourteen State Championships and six National Championships later, NASP archery has spread to 500+ student archers representing 15 Austin area schools.
Why? Simply put archery is cool, and Bat City Archery understands how to make it appealing, inclusive, and a great fit for kids, schools, and communities. We are proud of the work we have done, the communities we help to build, and the legacy of our efforts.
Bat City Archery is dedicated to supporting NASP archery programs across Central Texas. Our mission is to empower students through the discipline, focus and confidence that archery fosters. By partnering with schools, we help develop comprehensive archery programs that provide students with a unique opportunity to engage in a sport that promotes both physical and mental well-being.

We Keep Kids Safe
Bat City Archery is more than a sports program—it’s a supportive community that shapes lives. By providing a safe, nurturing space, we help students develop social emotional skills, archery skills and academic abilities. We expect a team first climate that is emotionally and psychologically secure, uplifting and inclusive, respects differences, and is free from harmful or negative comments.
We Help Kids Learn & Grow
Success isn't easy. The Dream is free, the work costs extra. Our focus on personal growth ensures students become well-rounded individuals, prepared to succeed in every aspect of life. The goal is to help our archer athletes set goals what the can accomplish and resist the temptation of comparing themself to others. At Bat City Archery, we inspire excellence in both academics and athletics. Our program teaches archery as a way to instill life skills like focus, discipline, and goal-setting.
We Teach Kids To Win
Our many trophies and banners are simply byproducts of dedicating ourselves to be ridiculously faithful to the little things each and every day. Being perfect is not the goal, being present and purposeful is. Big time victories are carried on the shoulders of little victories each born of purpose and insight. We celebrate hard work, competitive character, compassionate teamwork, effort and respect for others. Each victory matters, no matter how small, for at the end of the day, winning in life is the most important victory of all.
