Archer Ambassador Volunteer Opportunity
Open to all LMS archers
On Monday, February 16 and Tuesday, February 17 (school holidays), archers are invited to participate in a group volunteer activity serving meals to people experiencing homelessness at the Trinity Center
Arrival time: 8:00 am
End time: 10:00 am
What we’ll be doing
● 8:00 am: Archers arrive and help plate cold food baskets
● 8:30 am: Meal service begins (served in several waves)
● 9:30–9:45 am: Final guests served; cleanup begins
● 9:45–10:00 am: Archers may be picked up
What you need to know
● Archers should wear their practice jerseys.
● Parents are responsible for transportation to / from the Trinity Center.
Carpooling is encouraged.
● This is an archer-only activity. Parents are welcome to hang out, but there is limited space for additional volunteers during food prep and service.
● The activity will be supervised. In addition to Trinity Center staff, Coach Kristian will be present at both sessions.
● We are serving people experiencing homelessness. If your child (or you) is not comfortable with this type of service, please do not sign up.
● Please sign up for only one session. If participation and feedback are positive, we hope to offer additional group volunteer opportunities in the future.
Thank you for supporting these opportunities for our archers to build teamwork, leadership, and community awareness.
What does An Archery Ambassador Do?
Bat City Archery Ambassadors are student athletes from BCA schools that serve our archery community throughout the year. They are the bridge that connects their school and the wider community. The provide valuable insights and share their expertise with new archery families, sponsors, and the community at large. They are quite simply the backbone of our nationally acclaimed program. Ambassador opportunities include tournament help, Meet-n-Greet Orientation Sessions, peer coaching, equipment workdays, outreach, teambuilding days, community service, and school demonstrations.
