JOAD Archery Program
Wondering what JOAD is? JOAD stands for Junior Olympic Archery Development. JOAD is a program of USA Archery that teaches Olympic style archery to young people, provides great opportunities for awarding achievement, and helps archers to enjoy the sport recreationally or progress to the excitement of competition!
Who can participate in the JOAD Program? JOAD is open to youth from ages 8 to 20 that are interested in either Recurve or Compound archery.
How much does it cost?
Registration for the program is Free. Practices cost $15 per practice. This covers the cost of targets, target faces, and general Archery Country bills. A portion of this goes into a pot for things like pizza nights, cookies, and cupcake prizes.
Who are the Coaches?
This program has been run by Matt Sharp and Naila Juarez for the last few years with great success with the support of Archery Country.
Coach Kristian and Coach Solomon have been coaching NASP archery for the past five years and wanted to expand the opportunities available to BCA archers by introducing JOAD programming.
When and where will practices be held?
Mondays 5.30pm to 6:45

What equipment do I need?
Archery Country have a limited supply of recurve bows. You can also bring your Genesis Bow or Compound Bow to shoot. Please bring your own arrows if you have them, we have a limited supply of extras.
