FLIGHT CHANGES

It has come to our attention that some athletes have been arranging internal swaps on their own. This is not permitted. This is a reminder that all flight changes must be requested and approved by Coach Kristian, BCA Program Director.

You are expected to arrive for the flight you originally registered for unless you have contacted Coach Kristian and received approval for a change. Any unapproved modifications will not be recognized and may create issues for your archer to compete

Thank you for your cooperation.

Bat City Archery will once again honor our amazing teachers! Teachers that attend the tournament will be entered into a raffle to win one of ten $50 gift certificates. Download a form and invite your teachers to watch how awesome you are (like they don't know this already)!

Additional FAQs

Can parents and extended family attend?

Yes! We have chair seating in the back of the gym. Bear in mind there is no space for younger siblings to bounce around and play. Running around an archery range is generally a bad idea. Plan to bring quiet time activities that will occupy them for 90-minutes or so (good luck).

Is there an admission fee?

No! The event is free of charge for spectators.

We don't own our own bow, what do we need to bring?

Check with your coach. Usually coaches bring school loaner bows and have them on hand throughout the tournament. We will have additional loaner bows available as well. We will have plenty of brand new arrows. Archers are welcome to use their own arrows as long as they meet NASP requirements.

What should my archer wear?

Most definitely rock your school jersey and colors. As per NASP policy, archers must wear close toed shoes, tie hair back, limit jewelry, and remove all watches (regular or smart).

Are pets allowed?

As per AISD policy, only service animals are permitted. Service animal guidelines:

  • A service animal is a dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability.
  • The work or task the dog is trained to do must be directly related to the person's disability.
  • Emotional support animals are not service animals: An animal that provides only comfort or emotional support does not qualify as a service animal under the ADA.
