Tournament Roster as of Wednesday, 4-February, 2026.

Location/Parking

The Ann Richards School is located at 2309 Panther Trail, Austin, TX 78704. Please do NOT try to go through the main school doors or any doors to the gym - they will remain locked. Instead, please park in the student parking lot (see the attached map with a blue star that says "park here").

After you park, walk through the gate into the courtyard with the field (see the arrows on the attached map). You will enter the school through doors in the courtyard area and directed to the appropriate check-in (bullseye or 3D). We have designated areas for archers to store their bow cases and belongings before heading into the gym.

We encourage all archers arrive 30 minutes before your flight begins so that you have time to make your way through the building, grab your scorecard, stow your bow case, and warm up.

Bullseye: A check-in table will be on your left when you enter the building. Archers should pickup their bullseye scorecard from this table and store bow cases/belongings in the main hallway in the taped-off areas. Bullseye flights will be held in the big gym.

3D: Archers participating in 3D will go to the right when entering the building and walk down the main hallway. A separate 3D check-in table will be available. Archers will pick up their scorecard for 3D near the small gym and store bow cases and belongings in the main hallway.

Seating for bullseye: Archers will have chairs to sit in between rounds. We will have plenty of space in the bleachers for families, friends, and other fans.

Seating for 3D: Due to the limited size of the small gym, seating will be more limited. Archers will stand between flights (no chairs), and we will have a single row of chairs for family, friends, and fan clubs. There will be space behind the row of chairs to stand and observe the archers.

Awards

Team awards: For the inaugural Cap City Cup, the top team in each division (elementary, middle, and high school) will earn a team trophy cup!

Individual awards: Following NASP State and Nationals awards, the top 5 male archers and top 5 female archers in each division (elementary, middle, and high school) will receive a medal.

Logistics

  • The attached spreadsheet includes the most recent registration information. Double-check that the archers name is correct, and confirm that your flight times for both bullseye and 3D are correct. If the cells for the 3D time are empty, your archer is not participating in 3D. Reply to this email with any corrections or questions.
  • Each team will provide their own arrows - please check with your coach for details around how your team will handle this
  • There is NO practice range.
  • Raffle - We’re raising funds for the ARS archery team through an exciting raffle and silent auction taking place during the tournament! The raffle is open now and features seven themed raffle baskets, including UT football tickets for next season and a guitar and jersey signed by Kane Brown, while the silent auction includes a special wine package (will post more info soon). Tickets can be purchased in advance online or in person at the tournament (cash or credit).
  • Concessions - we will have coffee, donuts, tacos and other snacks and candy for purchase at the tournament (cash and credit accepted). We will also have friendship bracelets available for our archery enthusiasts.
  • Pizza - Jet's Pizza, our "Pizza Makes Perfect" sponsor, is generously donating hot pizza for every archer at the end of each flight.
  • One-arrow Shoot-off - we will hold the one-arrow shootoff at the end of each bullseye flight
  • Check out our website for the most up-to-date information, as well as live score updates once the tournament begins: https://www.ars-archery.org/events/cap-city-cup
  • Weather - we are aware of the possible winter storm this weekend. We are making contingency plans, and will share any changes or updates as needed (fingers crossed they will not be needed!!).
